In 2011, Kristen took her first improv class in San Francisco. Today, she combines her professional background - a CPA immersed for a decade in boring presentation delivery - with improv concepts to bring you a more fun way to learn about communication and public speaking. Her mission is to help other professionals do something better with their time in front of a group or when caught off-guard by their boss in the hallway. When she's not on stage, Kristen spends time with her husband and identical twin sons, cooking, and petting her 12-pound kitten.
Jason started his career as in risk advisory services, but jumped ship in 2011 to pursue acting. He is a Meisner trained actor, an improv student at Upright Citizen Brigade, and a stand up comedian. Jason has come full circle to inspire business professionals to find their unique voice and shine through the crowd. Between photography, programming, and traveling the world, there isn't much he's not doing!
In 1996, Peter took his first improv class and fell in love. He has taken numerous classes in Chicago at The Second City and in Columbus, OH. He is the author of Improv Is No Joke: Using Improvisation to Create Positive Results in Leadership and in Life and Taking the Numb Out of Numbers: Explaining and Presenting Financial Information with Confidence and Clarity. Today, he travels the country teaching professionals how improv will make them better communicators. In his free time, he is either writing comedy, learning more about improv, or on his bicycle, and learning how to be an empty nester with his wife and their two Labrador retrievers. Peter is a member of the National Speakers Association.

Maria works alongside business professionals helping them stay organized and grow their businesses. In her former life as a teacher, she worked to instill a love for math in uninterested teenagers. That experience taught her the importance of engaging your audience, no matter what the topic. Maria is excited to support these concepts again by working with the Slide Deck Improv team. When she finds spare moments between working and taking care of her two young daughters, Maria enjoys running, biking and making music.
